Hi everyone,

I was really moved by the depiction of the hosts crossing through the rift and going to “heaven”. It reminded me of how I was brought up to view heaven in Christianity. My family has lost many of our loved ones this year and it was comforting to watch the hosts cross over. The member of Ghost Nation going through first was beautiful and I have watched that scene over and over.

I was also reminded of the depiction of heaven in the last book of The Chronicles of Narnia, The Last Battle. It was so much like what C.S. Lewis describes that I wonder if the creators used it for inspiration. Anyway, the depiction evoked a lot of emotion from me and I thought it was amazing!

I hope that in the third season they make a little more of a case for the goodness of humanity. The humans were told over and over to live their fantasies and were made to believe that the hosts would never feel anything. It’s a little unfair to judge their actions in my opinion. Until Kiksuya, I was still rooting for the humans. That episode changed my perspective. I think it’s because Akecheta was less violent towards the humans. By the end I was able to feel the loss of the hosts who died in the finale. I really hate that they killed off Sizemore. He was one of my favorite characters and I was really hoping to see him make it to the end.

Thank you so much for your podcast and perspectives on the show! I believe that Westworld is the best show in a long time and your analysis has helped me to make sense of things that are a little over my head!
