Hosts Out Of The Park

Hey Guys,

Been following you every week since Ep.1 Season 2, fantastic podcasts and I agree with your other listens that there is something about your voices that have a strange magnetism! I listening to you guys help me to concentrate during work.

I have a quick theory about the 5 Halores took out the park. I think in her current state of mind and the mission she is on, its most likely she only took the hosts that would be needed in what she was about to do, and not who she liked. Teddy was seen going to the valley beyond so it is unlikely that he was taken out of the park. I am against the idea that there are multiple active copies of hosts ie. multiple conscious’ of the same hosts at different places, otherwise Delores could just make 10 copies of herself and that would be too easy. I think she took:

1. Bernard, obvious reasons. I think Delores knows that her methods are extreme and will need a counterpart for the survival of their kind, she acknowledges Bernard’s pacifist approach and sees the fruits of his actions, valley beyond, so keeping him just to keep herself in check. 2. Peter Abernathy, because he was missing during the QA sweep and has vital information on it, not least of all its her Dad. 3. Angela, because she has experience in the real world and was an original host, her seductive abilities which would be useful for soft persuasion. her pearl probably survived the explosion given that a bullet at pointblank range was flatten by the amour around the pearl. 4.Clementine, Delores probably had access to Clementine after they recovered her body in the aftermath. Clementine has been given a lot of screen time this season and has reasons for revenge on the people that made her kill her fellow hosts. Her back story hints at something deeper, maybe a focal episode next season. 5. Her secret weapon…. William but the data ‘profile’ version of him as the park’s actions has defined him as, made into a host and adapted by Delores to obey her commands. This will set up a face off between host William and real William as he battles with his inner demons or the ‘stain’ possibly next season or season after.
