I Really Thought Tyrion And Bran Had Some Type Of Plan

Hey guys.

My name is Josh. I recently emailed about my gripes after the first viewing and hearing the instacast. Please disregard that email. It was way too early and I jumped the gun. After hearing the deep dive and watching for a third time I’ve changed some of my opinions a little bit. My one concern is that it felt to me that the Night King got a death he didn’t deserve. He is a huge badass villain and it was way too easy of a kill for Arya. The battle itself was brutal and I love Arya as much as anyone but it does a huge disservice to the Night King in my mind. I needed some strategy behind it. I need some type of “battle” between he and Bran. His demise seems unrealistic and like it was sheer dumb luck. The fear the Night King causes deserves more of a realistic death. I really thought Tyrion and Bran had some type of plan especially after that look they gave one another in the very beginning. Am I over looking something deeper? Am I being too critical? Help me understand why this is a realistic death for him and why it’s not too cliche? Thanks guys! Love the podcast.
