I thought of how The Forge reminds me of valley forge, which eventually became ground zero for the birth of the United States. The birth of a new nation, but also a new form of governing oneself. There is also civil war in Samurai world. ———————————————————————————- I think the show also wants to portray the same species in a fight for survival, but with opposing views, like MLK versus Malcom X. One believes we have to integrate and one believes we have to burn and destroy the enemy to survive.
