As always, guys. Great show! Thanks for doing it.

We’ve learned a couple things this week.

1. The hosts have DNA
2. Delos has been collecting the DNA and experiences of all their guests.

So, it is possible that that mystery host we saw being created in Season One was in fact the MIB. I first started thinking this possibility at the end of Season One when the MIB was shot by Teddy. And then woke up with Ford nearby.

We have seen the MIB get shot. Only once did we see him respond by losing his balance. When Teddy shot him at the end of Season One, though, it incapacitated him…long enough for Teddy and Delores to have a conversation, and then for some time after.From one single shot with a toy bullet?

Remember, Teddy was told he wasn’t ready yet at one point holding a gun up to the MIB’s head and when he couldn’t pull the trigger, he was told by that blond host that he wasn’t ready yet before she shot him.

On his next incarnation, he saw the Wyatt wolf, and rode off to save Delores, shooting hosts indiscriminately along the way.

So, the idea is that Ford turned off the detectors, so that the gun could be used to kill humans, just as Teddy rode up on the MIB. The rest of the board was in a safe place waiting for Ford’s speech, and the other guests be damned. Ford drags the MIB’s carcass off and replaces it with the host, beats it up, and wakes it up. The MIB doesn’t know he’s dead.

That’s what I think happening.

A note about consciousness…Delores knows what she is, but might still be unconscious. So, is self-awareness the same as consciousness? It would appear.no.

Anyway, just some food for thought.
