Thanks for reading my email on your last show. I’m still on the same topic, but I feel it deserves closer attention. You said on your show that it doesn’t appear that James is complicit in the death of the slaves. In the morgue James has a flashback to the ship. We clearly see him hammering bolts into the gate that is trapping the slaves below deck. There are two possibilities here. James intentionally killed the slaves, or the show is intentionally misleading us.

I think it will be very interesting to see how viewers react if it is revealed that our central character is a mass murderer.
