Really enjoying the podcast (and of course the program).On the episode re Holy Ghost, I think you mentioned that youd get back to the baby-headed basketball player ghost, but I dont think you ever did. So heres a funny story.Last week, on a whim, I watched Wanderlust with Paul Rudd and Jennifer Aniston. Jordan Peele has a very minor part in it (as well as Keegan-Michael Key). In what seemed a remarkable coincidence, there is a scene where Anistons character takes psychedelics and hallucinates and guess what shows up? A baby-headed basketball player at least, it looked like that to me. I was blown away when I saw this and had to wonder: Is there some meaning or inside joke involving this type of hallucination that Im not aware of (being an old fart)? Did Peele have some input into the movie and into the ghost in Lovecraft? Or did Lovecraft borrow from the movie scene? Or is there no meaning to this at all and Im just hallucinating myself??? Would love to hear your comments.
