On The Throne: Theory On Jon Screaming At The Dragon

Although the Battle of Winterfell was one of the most incredible episodes of any TV production I’ve ever seen, I couldn’t help but feel frustrated by how scattered and useless Jon Snow seemed in the episode, from falling off the dragon, to floundering around Winterfell. I know he was on a mission to save Bran, but I was at first very confused by his strategy for approaching the undead dragon. However, and I must note this is a theory I originally saw elsewhere, if you listen carefully Jon screams “GO” several times while facing the dragon head-on, and this is simultaneously happening has shots switch between him and the Night King slowly approaching Bran. The theory is that Jon was actually distracting the dragon and screamed “go” at Arya so that she could pass the dragon, who was protecting the Weirwoods, so she could kill the Night King. You can see that after Jon screams, a wisp of wind brushes a White Walker, which is probably Arya sneaking by, and soon after she strikes. I’d love to hear y’all think about this theory.
