Really Enjoyed the Season 7 Finale
Had plenty of issues during the season with the jetpacking and characters doing things that just didn’t make sense. In the end, though, I thought things came together really well. Arya and Sansa were more than smart enough to see through Littlefinger. The meeting in King’s Landing gave us some great interactions and Cersei ended up being true to her character. Some of the oddness of Eastwatch makes sense if you assume the Night King was plotting to get a dragon to help bring down the wall. Jamie finally walked away from Cersei. There was also, as you said, a lot of of stuff left open for next season. Yes, the show does have a different feel from its early seasons, but I think they did wrap things up well. I also like the idea that Season 7 and 8 are, in some ways, two halves of one large final season.
