Sansa Killed It

Hey Guys,

Just want to say this was a great episode despite some squicks (Ayra sex scene was real awkward for me). This episode felt the most LoTR for me especially the Pod singing and the music swelling when Jon meets up with his old crew. But the most riveting scene was the one between Dany and Sansa. I have to say Sophie Turner’s acting was amazing in this scene and the entire episode. The push and pull between the two women. Dany trying butter up Sansa with compliments about their dominance over the game as women in a men’s world. However, in doing all of that, Dany foolishly revealed her hand/weakness. Dany is not fighting humanity’s war, it’s Jon’s war. It’s why Sansa poses the question who’s manipulating who in this Jon/Dany romance. You could also see how Sansa instead was reeling her in being all polite and gracious until she struck as the Lady of Winterfell in the pressing issue of Northern independence and Dany was not ready for it at all among other things. I just loved everything about this scene. Anyway love your podcast.
