Seriously, Global Warming in Game of Thrones?

Hi guys,

I loved your “initial impression” podcast and sent it to many of my friends. I am a high school English teacher and I don’t listen to many podcasts, but was hungry for some GOT analysis. You guys blew me away, but…seriously, global warming? Politics has invaded almost everything; can you keep the bullshit like the hit on Fox News out of Game of Thrones?

I am a conservative. We make up almost half the population of the United States; why would you not want more listeners? GOT is my escape. I’ll keep listening, but please tell the guy who thinks we’re all going to die from global warming to keep politics out of it.

Also I hope you are wrong about the series having a “everybody dies in the end” type of ending. The real challenge to Martin is to take the good vs. evil theme and make it not so simple as one side winning.
