Big fan of the podcast here. Love listening to all theory explanations and explorations.

One thing that’s been bugging me a bit from episode five is that Shogun World is described as being for those who think West World is too tame. But, isn’t that exactly what the Man in Black has been complaining about in West World? If he wanted to play a game with higher stakes, why would he have been wasting his time in West World instead of Shogun World? AND if you were going to build a weapon or hide some Top Secret IP, wouldn’t you want to do that in the place that would attract fewer guests? Assuming Shogun World, with all its danger, would appeal to fewer tourists.
