Hey guys!

Long time listener, and I really am enjoying y’alls show this season!

I was so so impressed with the last episode, but also I felt like it was too easy maybe? Like a little kitschy almost, like of course one of the most beloved characters in the show comes through with a sneak attack and defeats death himself right at the point of losing hope… I loved the visuals and even the whole battle scene was so well choreographed it was truly an incredible episode to watch, but I can’t help but feel that it was sped up and maybe the Battle of Winterfell should have been lost at first and another battle won farther south. Thoughts on this?

Also, I wanted to get your take on something for how the next few episodes might play out. So obviously after the last episode, in the trailer for the next one Dany says something like, “we’ve won the great war and now we’ll win the last one.” So the group is headed for Kingslanding and for Cersei’s head, but now their forces are heavily damaged with the (almost) extinction of the Dothraki and hundreds of soldiers lost. I doubt the rest of the North will fight for Dany’s quest for the throne, and as powerful as they are, 2 dragons and now less than 13,000 Unsullied soldiers are not going to win all of Westeros. So, interested to see how that comes together for Dany.

Also also, Jon’s whole character thus far has been centered around him receiving positions of power from people that believe in him, but he has not necessarily wanted them. Although he has performed well and succeeds as a leader, with his upbringing, he has always been very humble about his station. Is it possible for Dany to supersede his claim to the throne if he doesn’t want to rule Westeros? I could completely see him and Dany getting married with her as queen and him possibly ruling alongside her, but I don’t think his previous character traits give him the tendency to push her off the throne she’s worked for and that she feels she deserves.

Keep up the great work! Love y’all,
