The Small Council Episode 2

This episode has 2 types of Parallelism: Past & Present and We’ve been here before with

Past and Present: Arya & Nymeria/ Arya & Ned:
1a) Ned, being fatherly, tells Arya that she will marry a lord, be a lady of a great house and have children; her response to her father planning her whole life: but That’s not me. 1b) Arya, finding herself surrounded by the pack and realizing the leader is Nymeria, tries to get her to leave the wild life behind and come home with me to Winterfell and then the realization but That’s not you.

Olenna & Dany/ Maester Aemon & Jon Snow: 2a) Olenna, after commenting in Council that Margery was loved by all but is now ashes, gives Dany the advice of You’re not a sheep, you’re a dragon Be A Dragon! 2b) Likewise, when Jon Snow was troubled in making decisions at The Wall, was advised by Maester Aemon to Kill the Boyand Let the Man be Born.

The Mad King vs. The Mad Queen vs. The Dragon Queen:

1) The Mad King inviting the Lords to come and bend the knee and burned Rickard & Brandon Stark

2) Cersei inviting the current remaining Westerosi Lords to side with her and fight off the Dragon Queen and her Barbarian hordes

3) Dany inviting Jon Snow to Dragonstone, to bend the knee. Sansa reminding him what happened to their grandfather and uncle

In the Dragon Crypt

1) With Varys & Ilryio having secret talks as overheard by Arya hiddn in a dragon skull.

2) With Cersei & Qyburn discussing how to kill Dany’s Dragon.. with a megabolt to the brain!

Archery Practice at Winterfell

1) Jon & Robb teaching Bran and Arya shooting over Bran’s Shoulder

2) Northern children learning how to use bows and arrows for the war to come Talking to Hotpie at The Inn: 1)Tells Brienne & Podrick about Arya; they ride North. 2) Arya learns about Jon & Sansa taking back Winterfell; rides North
