Rewrite: A Coda

Hey guys! LOVE the shows!! Let’s get down to it…

The show ends just as it currently stands. Except, immediately following the King’s Moot, Arya sticks to her word and sets sail for whatever is west of Westeros… Sailing west in her dingy (or is it schooner?), wind in her hair, a smile is just about to break across her otherwise stern face, when WHAM! She crashes into a wall!

A la Truman show, she discovers a platform over the water and a door! After the initial terror of what just had occurred rubs off, curiosity gets the best of her, and she enters the door. Outside the door, she finds herself in our world!

It’s evening, and the streets are quiet… in front of her, a large building with the letters… HBO… She enters the building… Stealthily explores the halls with strange sights.. photos of her and her family are plastered everywhere… terror is in her eyes, but she continues to roam. Suddenly, she hears voices… following the voices, she stumbles upon three men. Lurking in the shadows, she listens as they rehash memories of the show they had just completed… laughing at the foolishness of the fans and their claims to know better than them, they get themselves into a drunken stupor. We discover that the three men are the Double D’s and a certain HBO exec!

Suddenly, she emerges from the shadows! Without a moment’s delay, she unsheathes Needle, and slashes the throats of the Double D’s… then the camera angle switches to that of the perspective of the now terrified exec… she stares into the camera, and just before delivering her final execution quietly whispers… “I could have done it better..”.. Swipe! Cut to black…ROLL CREDITS

May as well give the fans a sense of retribution…
