Have a Theory? Share It Now!

Hey Guys,

Thanks for reading my “umm, actually” last week. I was telling my girlfriend that, while I of course try to be polite in all matters, you guys are as good as it gets when it comes to receiving constructive criticism. What a great quality. Anyway, onward…

I’m VERY curious, going into this finale, about how they’re going to close the time gaps in a single episode (if indeed they are). Based on the video footage we see in the premiere and again in Episode 9 of Dolores executing the Ghost Nation brave, there’s something like 1 or 2 WEEKS during which we have not seen any footage of Dolores, Maeve, William, Akecheta, or Ford. OK, Ford may be gone now, but the other three are MAIN characters and our last info on them is pretty outdated at this point. I don’t have a theory here, just a discussion point: how on earth do the Nolan-Joys close up more than a week of narrative for the majority of the main characters in a single episode, thus bringing us up to the present-day/Karl Strand timeline? And that’s without even considering whether we’ll actually get to proceed forward at all from the “present” time. God, I hope this thing’s like three hours long. Fingers crossed.

Keep up the good work as always. This show would be at least 30% less interesting without you guys.

Best,
Karl

Who knows? Season 2 filled in a lot of blanks from Season 1. Maybe Season 3 will work to flesh out this lost time.
