The Best Episode Ever!!

Hey Guys,

I laughed. I cried. I was terrified, I was overjoyed… plus more.

Laughed:
Tormund in the drinking scene in front of the fire was hilarious. The way he changed the dynamic of the room was brilliant. It was a sombre, dull and lowly drinking session. It was like a last supper. The way he came in, brought his own drink, spilled the whole thing all over his clothes but kept skilling was hilarious. Briennes disgust was so funny. The story of the giants milk had me in stitches. Arya and the weird foreplay with the dragon glass daggers thrown into the post and the way Gaendry reacted with urgency to get Aryas staff happening was amazing!! Tyrion overflowing Podricks cup with wine was also a great throwback to the drunken Tyrion days was awesome first time in ages we’d seen him be irresponsible with his drinking.

Cried.
The most touching moment ever for me happened today. Brienne is almost the most honorable character we know. To receive her knighthood, from Jaime was such a special moment. The way the gravity of this moment hit her and how seriously the whole room took this moment was amazing. Then after he stood, her tears of Joy and her SMILE… ???? I lost my shit!
We have never seen her smile. This was a beautiful link to S5 E3 while in front of the fire with podrick how she explained the embarrassment and humiliation she faced at a ball her father had organised when she was younger.

Terrified.
Terrified at the end of the episode when we saw the white walkers lining up facing winterfell.
The overall set of winterfell scared me for what’s to come. They have even armed the walls and pillars with shards of dragon glass as if to say they are planning for a wall of the dead to overflow and scale the walls. Terrified also for Jon and Danearys that they now know, but ran out of time to talk about the implications of the truth they now know.

Arya and Gaendry getting it on was sad in a way and also so jubilating! Sad to see ‘little Arya’ as I have always seen her become a woman. So much of her has always felt the hurt and hate. She knows revenge, she wants justice, but now that she has felt love had me sad because she is truly not a small child anymore. She is a woman in every sense.

I was so happy to see Sansa and Dany almost make up but we saw Sansa stick to her guns and they really didn’t cover any ground. It shows that Danaerys is really not going to let go of her claim to the Throne. It’s all she cares about still.

Also it was great to see Bran and Jaime hash out their beef, kind of. And to see Jaime fighting for the living and submitting to Breanne was beautiful.

The little girl with dragonscale, just like Shireen was so beautiful. To see Davos taken back was beautiful. He had shireen back for a moment. But instead of a Shireen locked up and unable to defend herself we saw a Shireen who was fierce and wanted to help fight at the crypts in the smallest of ways was touching.

This was without doubt the best episode ever for me (that didn’t include fighting)
