The Iron Throne

Have a Theory? Share It Now!

Hi guys I have to start by stating that unlike most pf the fans I really enjoyed this season. It is not as great as seasons one through 4 but that certainly does not make it a bad one. Yes a lot of theories were ignored and it did feel a little rushed but the visuals and the artistic creativity put behind every scene has always excelled in this show. The final episode started in my opinion very good. I loved the scene were Tyrion find his siblings crushed under the rubble. He will probably get an emmy nomination for that. The whole first part i thought was fantastic. John”s horrified face of what was once a city full of people was now nothing but ash. Then you have the scene with Deaneris standing in front of her army and the dragon wings behind her. Now she was wearing all black and it really looked like a scene from star wars and she was dark vader, the unsullied were the army of the empire or the first order whatever they are called now. Up until then they had me. I still remember the girl who wore the flowi silky turquoise dresses and now she is in black leather looking like the villain she turned into. I still love her! Have rooted for her the whole show but you can see what the show runners were trying to portray. I think john killing her was the right choice I just would have liked maybe drogon trying to burn him alive and not being able to, then he would mount the dragon and take control of the unsullied and dodraki but I guess that was too much to ask. I hated the whole 30 seconds we spent watching tyrion rearrange chairs and the whole table chitter chat I found it unnecessary. I have to say I cried when brienne wrote on the book of knights. Now about what tryrion say about nobody has a better story than bran mmmm well actually…. John has a way better story. Eddark Starks bastard son who becomes lord commander of the wall, dies , comes back to life to unite the north defeat the boltons and becomes king of the north, only to later discover that he was never a bastard and actually the legitimate son of raegart targaryen and lyanna stark. And he is the legitimate heir the the throne!!! But I guess after murdering his queen that was too much to ask. The last part of the episode I also enjoyed for me my favorite part was watching sansa get crowned. I teard up during that scene. The north knows no king but the king of the north whose name is stark, the words of lyanna mormont finally came true. The north deserved their independence. John going to the real north was ok I guess he will be happy there, but I still wanted him to be king. And finally Aria becoming an explorer and sailing east or west I dont remember that felt true to her character and in the end the starks would rule the world. Im gonna miss this show and the characters. Even this podcast and you guys who I enjoy listening to very much. Can’t wait for westworld to come back.
Best wishes.
