This Is The End

Dear Hosts,

I want to say thank you to everyone out there who has loved Game of Thrones as much as all of us. This show took us to a new place that we had never seen before, and I know we are all going to miss it. Regardless of how everyone feels about the last few seasons, I think it is worth it to reflect at how amazing the journey was collectively.

After all, the show is fantastic because it transports us into an entirely new world. We know what the fabrics of Cersei’s clothing feels like, we know the smell of Flea Bottom, we can literally go out and horns of ale at bars now. But other than falling into this amazing world, we talk about it. I don’t know if there are many people out there just like me, but I read all of the Ice and Fire books (and Lord of the Rings) all the damn time in high school and people thought I was a bit of a weirdo sometimes.

Now, everyone gets to see a world that I have loved for years and make podcasts and review videos about it. It is seriously the coolest thing as anxiety ridden and stuttering college student like myself, being able to talk about dragons and knights and quests with anyone because we all bent the knee for this show.
