Two Westworld S304 Questions

Have a Theory? Share It Now!

Good morning, Shat Crew. I know that scene-by-scene analysis isn’t your thing, but I did have two questions that I wanted to get your thoughts on. The first is simple:

Why do you think Maeve, after repeatedly using her powers to redirect aim-assist guns and other things, did not use her powers to simply kill Musashi’s reincarnation? She knew that he was a host; yet decided to have a conventional fight with the host.

For the second question, forgive me if you have already discussed this, and I missed your theories, or if I missed a detail that already covered this… What happened to “Charlores”? It seems as though the first host created at Bernard’s house was a Delores copy, as when the latest Bernard was created, Delores and Charlores are shown leaving his house.

In season 3, we see Delores creating a new Charlotte. So, at the moment, Charlores, Delores, and a new host Charlotte are all in the real world. It seems like the common thought, though, is that Charlores’ pearl some how transferred to Delores’ body. Who could have done that?

In other words, there are 8 known pearls in the presumed real world, including the 5 that were in “Charlores'” bag (*):

1. “Charlores”, who escaped Westworld
2. *New Delores, created by “Charlores”; seen talking to New Bernard and leaving with “Charlores” in the Season 2 finale. 3. *New Bernard, created by New Delores/”Charlores” at the end of Season 2 4. *New Charlotte, shown created in Season 3 episode 3 (I think) 5. *Host Sato (made in the image of Musashi
6. *Host Martin
7. Meave
8. Stubbs

It seems like a lot of people are writing off #1, or considering #1 and #2 to be the same pearl (but not explaining how that transfer occurred), or #1 and #4 being the same (“Charlores becoming new “Charlores”, who had to be explained who she was and what her role was). What am I missing? Does “Charlores” no longer exist; just become new Delores somehow? If so, how?
