Umm…actually…. about Sansa

Hey Guys,

Listening to Gene’s response from yesterday’s podcast about “Sansa playing off of Jon because she could see that he was being erratic.”

Really Gene?!!! Gotta say that this was a really dumb comment from you. How was Jon being erratic while they were planning the war with Ramsey? Give a specific example during that time frame. (And I’m not talking about him being emotional about trying to rescue his brother Rickon DURING the war.)

Plus, Jon did not want to go to war. He told her that he was tired of fighting and she talked him into doing it. He was not being erratic. He knew that he needed more soldiers because they both had gone to basically every northern house to get more support but he had to move forward because Ramsey was not going to sit around and wait for them to get more soldiers to defeat them. Sansa should have told him. Period. Point blank. She was being her usual self-serving self.

Also, regarding Sansa not liking Dany. She had no real basis for disliking Dany except that she wanted to be Queen herself. That’s the only real reason she hated Dany. She should have been more grateful that Dany was there. She helped to push Dany over the edge.

Jon was loyal to Dany for TWO legitimate and logical reasons. She SAVED him north of the wall (because of Tyrion’s dumb plan) and was willing to come to Winterfell to fight for them. He knew that she had lost so much doing all of this so of course, he felt indebted to her. What reasonable person wouldn’t be loyal to someone who sacrificed so much?

And what the hell did Sansa contribute to all of that????? Oh yeah. She was worried about food. She was totally bitchy and ungrateful. Sansa spent all of Season 7 worrying about Cersei when the real threat was the Night King. So she was totally not that smart and mostly self-serving. And let’s not forget her telling Jon’s secret after she pledged not to tell.

Puh-lease. Spare me this Sansa was great.

And PS…

Was Jon supposed to tell Dany…” oh sorry. I can’t be loyal to you because Sansa says that you are not good…so huh…thanks for all you did.”

Dany was not a bad person during the time that Sansa disliked her. Again, she was pushed to the edge by circumstances. She tried to make peace with Sansa on several occasions but Sansa gave constantly gave her the cold shoulder and was very disrespectful. And think about this…Sansa admired Cersei and Little Finger…people who actually caused her family way more harm than Dany ever did.
