Viserion Or Rhaegal

Hi guys,

love the podcast, great insight always a pleasure to listen. I have one question/comment. You guys were talking about the dragon showdown with John snow at the end with the half face ripped off and how cool it was to see, and you named him Viserion, to which I am curious if that was actually Viserion or was it Rhaegal? I was under the impression that was Rhaegal resurrected by the knight king.

After the initial dragon dogfight when the Knight king bails on Viserion, and John crashed Rhaegal, we don’t see either dragon until one returns at the end. The darkness and confusion of the dogfight made it hard to see which dragon was attacking who, and as you mentioned not having any bright marking doesn’t help anyone to identify who is who either. The colors of each and the rider are our only way to identify them. Furthermore you’d assume that if either dragon survived that dogfight the rider would continue to use them. Why would anyone choose to go into battle without the best weapon Westeros has to offer??? Which leads me to believe that Viserion kills Rhaegal, then Drogon kills Viserion. When the knight king resurrects the dead in front of John, this also brings back Rhaegal to life which is the dragon we see in the showdown with John Snow missing half his face and neck.

Any insight and thoughts would be great, keep up the great work
