Westworld 203 Telegraph

Hey everyone,

I just wanted to chyme in on the battle at the fort. It pains me to compare them, but this whole scene reminded me of The Walking Dead’s recent All Out War seasons (which are terrible).

The joke of a QA team advancing shoulder to shoulder was brutally painful to watch, especially as a veteran. They clearly show some of the QA team being dropped by the confederados (which you’d think they’d land more hits since they’re robots) but they continue to advance from a distance while shooting on full auto with P90s (Why do they only carry these small caliber, short ranged weapons?).

Then, somehow, the firey explosion triggered by Dolores’ group kills all of the QA team? Obviously I don’t expect TV to replicate real world ballistics but this got beyond campy, which is unfortunate because I don’t think Westworld has ever gone that direction before.

Outside of this I loved the episode (minus the terrible CGI tiger). Keep up the good work.
