Westworld Arnold=Ai Thoughts

Hey Guys,

Another thing to consider – when Ford tells Bernard about Arnold in The Stray (I believe that’s the episode)- he tells Bernard about his partner shows him the photo and explains Arnold died before the park opened and to ensure the park didn’t fail his business partners covered it up-Logan and probably his father-since they already invested so much. ford also says that it was only him a small research team and Arnold in the park before opening.

I’ve also seen somewhere – can’t remember the source – it was a timeline – approximating Bernard’s creation to within 10 to 15 years before current day – which makes sense because it is old ford that brings him online.

So it is believable that the Arnold death was covered up because no one besides Ford, Logan(perhaps papa Delos) and a small research team knew about it. Then the park was fully staffed later – and Bernard was created even later than that.

Also remember Logan tells William that there was an issue before the park opened and mentions the cover up-Logan never met him. It seems that they secured the investment from the presentation we see in episode 2 and that there wasn’t any contact between Logan and Ford either. It appears that they only interferrred to protect the investment after the incident.

Not saying your thoughts are wrong – cuz I think it’s still a bit iffy about how it went down too- but there are all these other season 1 details to remember too. Looking forward to hearing you guys next week- about to give you a 5 Star on iTunes .
