I rewatched episode 1 after your deep dive podcast. I noticed that in the scene when Bernard wakes up on the beach he sees hosts being shot. One of them appears to be the milk drinking bandit. His line is “Shoot a woman? Over my dead body!” before he is shot. But later in the episode, earlier in the timeline, he is shooting at a woman board member. This leads credence to the idea that they have designed this awakening for Bernard. Otherwise this host is out of character. And the camera obviously focuses on him as Bernard passes. I don’t know if there’s any more to it, but I thought you’d find it interesting.
