In season 1 episode 8 we see Ford telling Stubbs and Charlotte that the QA team privileges will need be reined back a bit after the discovery of Theresa and the QA teams hoax with Clementine. Stubbs tells Ford that it will leave them short handed. Ford assures them that he and Bernard can automate some of the parks safety protocols. I think that Ford reprogrammed Ghost Nation as protectors of the guests safety.
