Unfortunately, the writers didnt call me to help them punch up the script for ep. 6 but if they would have, I would have pitched the idea that when Caleb 278 gets to the air duct drop scene, instead of using 277(assuming that was the previous version) to break his fall, it was the other way around and 277 was waiting for 278 to use him. So 278 gets smashed against his will and we resume the story following 277. Would have been a cool mini twist.
