What Don’t We Have Time For?

Hi guys,

Ashley said something interesting on the instacast, when she didn’t love the replay of the sweetwater stuff in the new park. She said “we don’t have time for this”, meaning she wanted more time spent on the mystery portions of the show. I didn’t understand quite what that meant, because there is only so much mystery in the show. If they cut that entire scene, it’s not like that means a whole extra level of mystery is added instead, like there’s this reservoir of more mystery that they have in their pocket that they’d love to share with us, but unfortunately they ran out of time. If they reveal stuff they’re not going to reveal until episode 6 in episode 3, we don’t then get even more cool mystery stuff in episode 6. They are giving us everything they have for this season parceled out over 8 episodes in whichever way they broke the episodes to maintain interest in the mystery through to the 8th episode. I’m not sure what the ask is here.
