Why Would Arya Care About the Citizens of Kl?

Have a Theory? Share It Now!

Hey Guys,

What was the seminal event in Arya’s life?
Ans: It was being in the crowd during her father’s beheading. She didn’t actually see the beheading( the NW ‘recruiter’ covered her face), she only heard the crowd yelling for his head. The first person she ever killed was the stable boy in KL. After that, her “raison d’etre” became murderous revenge. Merin Trant, the Freys, all fell victim to that revenge. (Although, one always has to ask why she didn’t have Jaken kill Tywin?) She operated with that goal in mind. So, back to Ned’s beheading…Arya hears this crowd of King Landings common folk calling for Ned’s head, hears their cheers the moment he loses it, yet in the end, she’s risking her life trying to save them and now avenge them by killing Dany??? It just doesn’t make sense to me.
