What Was Wight in a Box Chained To?

As an avid listener to the podcast (only one friend watches the show and his recollection skills are suspect) I had to write in about the grand meeting in Kings Landing.

I wanted to note that before Gregor opens the box with the wight inside, the Lannisters had never seen the Hound afraid of anything except fire. He shows NO anxiety whatsoever upon seeing his resurrected brother AKA “The Volcano”, pity perhaps, but definitely not fear. The way the scene later unfolds, with the Hound opening the “Wight-in-a-box,” and then releasing it, really sets the tone for how dangerous this threat really is. A very well acted scene that not only sets the tone for the “Lannister Council” but for the audience as a whole. Side note… what exactly was the Wight chained to??

Also, Theon’s redemption is more than you first realize: as he somehow overcomes the beat down with an admittedly cheesy knee-groin counter-attack, he wins over the rest of the crew in a very Greyjoy-kingsmoot kinda way. He then cleanses himself in saltwater, perhaps as a sign of rebirth and hopefully Theon’s trajectory becomes more faithful and dependable.

Lastly, will we see Daario again, perhaps as a mole in the Golden Company? —
