Will the Dragon’s Dance?

Hey Guys,

It is Game of Thrones time again…FINALLY! I am so happy y’all are doing this show again this season, it makes an already great time that much better. I do appreciate all the hard work y’all are putting in not only with GOT, but keeping up on the Movies and American Gods. It truly is impressive and I love all the content. Keep it up!

We are welcomed back to Westeros just like the first episode…almost. We have everyone in Winterfell gathered together to welcome the Dragon Queen. Not all are happy as we can tell. Sansa seems the most changed over the seasons. She is the Ice queen. Cold and calculating, I just wonder if she is pulling a littlefinger behind the scenes or if her being so snide is just for show. I agreed with Big D and King B(which sound like Westeros nicknames themselves) that the loving flight of the dragons was corny and seemed a lot like fan service. I did enjoy that the interactions between characters went pretty equally bad and good. I loved that the Hound and Arya didn’t have a big love fest. I mean he is still on her little list after all. Jon and Arya now that one got me. I haven’t seen Arya smile like that since season 1 that was a great moment. Dany having to eat her words while trying to thank Samwell was fantastic. Yet after all this we get Euron getting laid and Bronn still not getting paid? Where is the love GOT. Also what was with Qyburn telling the future? Was that supposed to tell us something? Does Cersei have the advantage of a fortune teller? Is Qyburn like Bran only darker? It has started off with a lot of avenues to go down it really just depends on which ones of these they pursue. It is to early to tell if how they are going to be wrapping this up so I will reserve real judgement for a few more episodes. Just don’t go down the easy road GOT. Let’s make this a bloody, epic, twisting and turning ending. I am hoping for more Season 1,3, and 4 Thrones, than I am season 6-7 Thrones. Do you think I am over worrying and it is way to early to tell or do y’all feel the way I do? Do you trust the show runners to stick this landing or do you think that they raised expectations so high it is impossible to land without smashing their legs to pieces?

Again always a blast listening. I did enjoy the episode so I am eager to see where this goes. Thanks for the podcast as always. Have a great week guys/gals!
