This 1995 comedy featuring the musical stylings of 2 Live Crew and star power of Michael Ironside and Bam Bam Bigelow had us asking what was wrong with Major Payne’s romantic interest (Karyn Parsons) and why any director would allow sped-up motion in his movie.

While Gene bemoaned Major Payne’s misrepresentation of JROTC, Big D found some nuggets of truth in the movie’s tough-love message. And both agreed Louis Gossett Jr. was the man to take the lead role to another level.
