1st Time Theory

Hi Guys,

Long time listener, love the show. First theory I’m putting forth. Almost in the “Occam’s Razor” department:

William is a host, built by Ford in order to have someone under his control leading DeLos. That allows Ford to create a long-term diversion while he enacts his true plan: using The Forge to unleash the hosts to take over the world and become the next race that will go on to control the earth, making Ford, in-effect, god.

It makes too much sense:

* Young William from Season 1 seems like a too nice a person, absolutely nothing like the man in black we’ve come to know. Yes we know he’s “hardened”, but it makes more sense that Ford had him killed and replaced with a host at some point following his first visit back then. Maybe shortly after Jim DeLos died.

* Ford has been leading William along on all these “games” for like 30 years – who else does he love to do that with besides his creations

* William is Ford’s ultimate ultimate mole-what we initially thought Bernard was last season, but William’s the real mole. The one from the beginning that allowed the entire sequence of events to take place.

* All of William’s behavior as a host and Ford’s plans are going to culminate somehow at the Forge… hopefully next episode (but doubtful)

I don’t completely have it ironed out yet, but i think there’s something here. Could be wrong. Keep up the great work.
