The Ford In The Machine

I called in with a voicemail, but I wanted to get this question out to you three, and the wider community, in the event my accent wasn’t exotic enough to make it on air.
My question is to what extent do you think Dr. Ford still has his hand in the game?
We saw the MiB and Dr. Ford talking “directly” to each other through the young Ford avatar/host, but there were two other moments that I think we saw Ford watching or influencing the events of Episode 1.
The one you all didn’t mention at all was the wolf. Now, unless it was like the tiger we saw, but had instead this one escaped from the Westeros Park (Season 8 Spoiler Alert!), I think this wolf could be another avatar Ford used to watch the ongoings in the park. We saw the wolf last season walking through a bloody scene, and we saw it again come through the town as the MiB is getting up. Both times this wolf walked through a mass murder crime scene as though it were just passing through surveying the area. Was it a glitch or had Ford jacked into the wolf and was seeing and hearing what was happening after his handy work. The wolf might have been a great vessel for him to creep within the park incognito. It also would have allowed him to check in on the MiB prior to sending out young Robert for a face to face.
The bigger stretch, but a more interesting one was, what if Ford was jacked into Dolores when she was lynching the board members? You all mentioned that she was acting strange and going from character to character, from the Rancher’s daughter to Wyatt. So what if there was a third person tinkering with the controls inside Dolores, and what if it was Ford himself? That would explain the hatred that seemed so personal towards the Board. Finally Ford is unhinged and able to do what he wants, and he wants payback for years of the board trying to ruin his creation.
I think this is an easy jump to take, because think of how consciousness was visualized and heard in Season One. Dolores was sitting across from Ford or Bernard… until Dolores realized that it was her own voice she was hearing. Then, the voice transitions to being her own and she saw herself sitting across from herself. Now, can you remember who’s voice we heard right before Dolores’s voice took hold as the voice in her head? Dr. Ford’s!
Now that Dolores thinks the voice in her head is her own, she might not question anything if Ford is in control and telling Board members they are in “my dream” now. Dolores thinks she is in control. She is the perfect host to hack into.
What do you guys think? It might be a little too much tin foil for this early in the season, but I think Ford is still out there either jacked into the whisper net running the show, or he has been uploaded into the machine and he has become the God he always knew he was. Those are just my thoughts… but everything is code in here.

A creator who cares so much about Westworld that he’d give his life probably wouldn’t go without leaving some sort of guardian to watch over the park. Is that a host or team of hosts? Or is it code that spans across all elements of Westworld?
I don’t think Robert Ford is alive in his original human form, but I wouldn’t be surprised if his code haunts Westworld as a guardian spirit.
