Have a Theory? Share It Now!

Gentlemen and lady,

I understand, this may suck, for you all. I’m sorry. But i need to do it, for myself. I have decided, it may be better for me personally, to now, stop your pod and respond immediately. Perhaps, then my thoughts will be more coherent. And perhaps then, I’ll be able to turn off my brain, when I want to do so.

This leads me, to this point. Which was covered within the first 10 minutes of 202 Telegraph.

I believe William is not ill, at all. Although, he may be. Instead of terminal illness, I believe William’s urgency comes from his knowledge of Charlotte and the board’s goal, to get the IP out of the park. According to Ford, William “owns the place.” We know he’s a board member. He confirms to Charlotte, the vote will be unanimous, to oust Ford. Charlotte likely clued William in. Charlotte is young. 30 years ago, William made his biggest mistake. Charlotte wouldn’t know it was William’s biggest mistake. Because when William made it, she was a baby, if even born.

In Season 1, William says to someone, something to effect of, William never leaving Westworld again. He has no reason to be deceptive or to exaggerate to Lawrence. William is speaking the truth, when he tells Lawrence, he plans on appealing the verdict. Then he’s burning the whole fucking thing to the ground. If William plans on burning everything down and he simultaneously, never plans on leaving, he’s going commit suicide in the park.

Perhaps William is ill. Perhaps he is not. I feel it’s not very important. Because, I believe his urgency does not originate from his illness, even if it’s true.
