So I started re-watching episodes 1-8 to see if I missed anything. In episode 9 we learn that Bernard is based on Arnold. In episode 3 we see Arnold talking to Dolores about his son Charlie. Bernard also has a son named Charlie. Bernard’s story is based on Arnold’s tragic event in the past. His son dying. If you already brought that up sorry. Also teddy in the present is based on William. Is it possible that William died in the park and the man in black is showing Dolores his grave? – Stephen
