Maeves Death!

Hey Guys,

love your podcast. I listend to your thoughts on the Maeve’s death scene. When watching it I thought the way you guys did. But, you guys completely misunderstood the scene with Maeve holding off The Horde and dying. I watched it with my wife. She wept that whole scene. But, she wasn’t weeping for Maeve dying. She was weeping on the goodbye to her daughter. What you guys seem to not notice (myself included) what’s that mean really didn’t care about dying either. She was sad about the fact that she was saying a final goodbye to her daughter. Which she will now never see again. It was her Cornerstone. Quite possibly the most important thing in her entire life.

I agree the way the music played, the way the scene was leading, it seems like they were setting up a big death.. to me. But, as well as you men, we are heartless unfeeling pieces of shit. Who cannot understand saying goodbye to your only daughter forever.
