Hale The Conqueror?
I was just in mid deep conversation with the wife. Almost threw pillow but no one was hurt. We both listened to the Instacast. I made sure she liked and subscribed. She continues to ponder why Hale went through all of this world take over attempt. To then just kill herself and be good all of sudden? As I understand why she and others would question this. I think it does align with what we have seen this season.
As we recall, we have seen sequences of Hale, struggling to understand why her creations destroy themselves. Aside from figuring out who is an outlier or how many times Aaron Paul does his best twitching performance. She can’t seem to figure out how and why they are killing themselves.
I believe in the end, she is like her creations. Morbidly yearning to understand their purpose of living. Hale, has been within that maze, within herself this whole season. Also, she isn’t “now good”. She wants revenge. She already thinks she lost. Therefore, since Dolores is also in Hale. Why not listen to Bernard and defeat Man in Black. Afterwords she realizes that everyone is dead. I think her thought is while seemly very Thanos like. Is more somber and more Dolores like. But also, finally realizing that like her robots. Life without a purpose is not worth living at all. Essentially, this all reminds me of the original purpose of the maze and the development of consciousness in a ??.
