A Few Theories…

Hey guys. Again, great work on the podcast.

We know that the hosts die almost every day and hundreds of man hours are spent creating these robots. We have seen the hosts get shot in the head and then get repaired at the Mesa. I theorize that what makes the hosts unique is a bulletproof thumb drive embedded in their artificial gray matter.

I’m still a proponent of the “Bernard is a robot clone of Arnold” theory. The evidence that I would like to present you is the fact that Dr Ford likes to surround himself with ghosts of his family. Bernard is his own personal ghost of Arnold. And every sequence where Bernarnold interacts with Dolores takes place 30 – 35 years ago.

Dr Ford seems to regret what happened 30 years ago. He may have realized the folly of his ways and is seeking to atone for it, Delos be damned as well as anyone who stands in his way. He cried when Dolores asked if they were very old friends.

I do not want to speculate any further as the show purposefully obfuscates the truth in Nolan fashion.

I know you guys are looking for a replacement show when Westworld season 1 is finished. I would like to humbly recommend that you pick a show that is chock-full of literary references because you guys excel at that.

Most will probably recommend GoT and Walking Dead. Meh
