A God Walks In Daegu

After watching last night’s episode it struck me that there were certain similarities between episode 8 of Watchmen. Both were slower paced back stories, and took place in Asian in a war torn country. I think these episodes work as a pressure release valve that are needed when shows move so fast and have complex stories. But at the same time I don’t think a 10 episode season couldn’t afford a lot of these types of episodes because it would disrupt the flow of the whole series.
