Arnold Is Ford

Hi guys,

I always look forward to listening to the West World Telegraph after watching an episode of Westworld. It’s always interesting to see what people think and what theories they come up with.

Episode seven was great but I think there were more things….

I want to go back to episode six when Bernard finds out about the 5 unregistered hosts. As you guys have already pointed out there were only four unregistered hosts in the house. I guess it’s safe to say from what we’ve seen in episode seven that Bernard is not a trustworthy narrator. Because he’s a host, we do not see the things he can’t see. For example in episode 7 and I believe in episode 6 as well, when Bernard is looking around the cabin, we do not see the door that’s been pointed out later by Theresa(was that her name?). So, it’s no surprise that he did not realize or point out the fact that Ford’s been there as the 5th unregistered host.

Also, in the episode where Ford hands Bernard the photo of who is supposed to be Arnold, we see a younger version of Ford through Bernard’s eyes. Why would Arnold create Ford’s family as hosts unless they’re actually his own family? I believe that Arnold created himself as a host(maybe an older version of him) expecting the host to help him create an advanced version of the hosts. I’m tying this up with Big D’s theory…machine creates machine, Arnold(the human one) dies and Ford takes over.

Buuut… also…. The picture Ford hands out to Bernard could have been something completely different. Bernard might have been programmed to see it that way. So there can actually be someone else in the photo or maybe a face can be different. So the person Bernard sees as Ford’s father can actually be his own face, which then can tie to the BernArnold theory.

I actually do think that Ford is the robot version of Arnold and like the human Arnold, he created another robot to be his right hand, who is Bernard.

What do you guys think? (Hope this doesn’t end up being the 3rd greatest thin foil theory).
