ShatOnTv Hosts,

Telegraph Email building on the ‘Arnold Was Never a Human Theory’ in light of this week’s episode.

There were two key things predicted that have now been proven (what do I win? I hope it’s not a coupon for Future World.):

In order to build the park and hosts you would first need to create a VR version of the park

Delores’ plan hinges on accessing a physical infrastructure, we now know is called ‘The Cradle’

From this week’s episode,
We have been told that in the ’14 days later’ timeline, the Cradle has been destroyed. As a computer scientist, this may or may not mean that it is gone entirely. If you know anything about huge data centers that hold all of your precious VR worlds, you never build just one. There is likely at least one redundant backup site.

In the ‘Letterbox’ scenes with Delores and BernArnold, where she is going through fidelity testing – this to me suggests that she is trying to bring Arnold out of retirement and create a version of him that could be extracted from the Cradle and put into the real world. I think that ultimately, Arnold fits into her plan as a Weapon that will help to liberate the hosts. We can all agree that Bernard has always been a watered down version of Arnold. Whether he was an intelligent and talented human being or was always an AI assistant created by Ford, (I am still in the camp that he was the latter) it actually does not matter. What does matter is, that where Bernard is weak, the ‘Arnold’ that Delores is creating in the Cradle will be much more powerful. She has already done this kind of transformation with Teddy by having a tech re-program him to better suit her needs.

The Bernard that we see washed up on the beach could be this version of a more powerful Arnold-Bernard created by Delores through many runs of testing in VR space within the cradle.

That’s it for this week – keep up the great work. The last Instacasts and Deep Dives for this episode were great.

v/r,

Aaron
