Bone Tomahawk!
Now that I have your attention I think, MAYBE, the reason the soldiers at Fort Forlorn Hope are slaughtered by Dolores and the Horde as well as all the hosts drowned in the lake has to do with the explosive charge in their spinal column. Their bodies are being rebuilt, a la Maeve, so that they can leave the park and go Bone Tomahawk on the outside world. However, one concern is Peter Abernathy who was being sent out in his original body (sleeve?) by Charlotte Hale. Perhaps the charge can be disabled? Anyhoo Did you happen to watch Bone Tomahawk yet?
Cheers

It’s certainly possible, Fred. But does drowning require a spinal rebuild? So far, we’ve only seen fire as a method for destruction.
I still haven’t seen Bone Tomahawk, but I’ve only heard good (and terrifying) things.
