Bran. Arya. The Red Woman

Have a Theory? Share It Now!

Hey Guys!
Machele (pronounced Muh-Shell) here from Rhode Island.

I was pleased with the battle episode! I was getting nervous towards the end that they were going to leave us with a major cliffhanger that we would have to wait until next week to conclude, but I am VERY glad they didn’t. I feel like a lot of people are surprised that the Night King died in this episode and that the battle was only this one episode since we still have three episodes left. I kind of expected it though because they still have to get to King’s Landing, let King’s Landing play out, then provide closure for the series.

While watching the “Inside The Episode” take at the end I loved how the directors specifically said they tried to get us to forget about Arya running out of the room with a plan, but after 7 seasons of this show there is no way us deep thinkers would forget about that! I had just asked, while Jon was up against Viserion, “What is Arya up to though they haven’t showed her again yet..” then she kills the Night King with what I think was Little Finger’s dagger – specifically given to her by Bran. Hmm more fuel to the “Bran can see the future” fire?!

Now the Red Woman was a vital part of this episode. From Lighting the Dothraki Arakhs, to lighting the trench, then dropping the bombshell on us at the end. When she said “I’ll die before dawn”, she knew that if she didn’t die in battle, the Night King would be defeated and that she would finally let herself go. I want to know what you guys think the reason for her specifically waiting for him to die was.

Concluding questions:
• Do we have more evidence that Bran can see the future?
• Why did the Red Woman wait for the Night King to die before taking off her necklace? • Will someone else take her necklace, and if so, who?
• Is Cersei possibly one of the people whose green eyes Arya will shut?

Thank you guys for keeping my car rides to and from work interesting throughout the week, as well as reading this! I would love to hear your thoughts on these questions. I hope to hear from you!
