Calm Down Folks

Hey Guys,

I need to clarify that I did not love the final season. I have a lot of issues including how fast everything moved, Bran”s story is wrapped up with “Why do you think I’m here?”, and Jon”s parentage being used for pushing Dany over the edge and literally nothing else. But I”ll let others dive into the complaints, which again, are earned.

BUT….for all of the people calling this the worst finale EVER, signing a petition to re-shoot season 8, or calling D and D trash…you need to calm the hell down.

First of all, the worst finale ever? I was a fan of Lost, this finale isn’t even close to the bottom. They didn’t leave much speculation on where characters were, and whether we like it or not, I can appreciate not ending on a cliffhanger.

Second, signing a petition to re-shoot season 8? Really? Hey losers, you aren’t owed anything because GOT was the greatest show on television for 5 or 6 seasons instead of 8!

Lastly, those who say they could”ve done a better job than D and D….uuuuh…..no, no you couldn’t. If someone handed you George”s books and told you to finish it (without knowing what D and D did the final 3 seasons), it would be a shit show. Finishing perhaps the most intricate fantasy saga ever without the original writer”s work is an insane task! This was, for many seasons, the best-adapted-screenplay I”ve ever seen. I think forgetting that would be a real shame.

Anyways, here”s to George going bankrupt on hookers and blow so he is forced to finish the books.
