Love your guys show, have been listening since westworld. I will make this short and let you think on the consequences of this. I think each time we see the cake is another year Veidt was on Europa. The first time we see the cake he is fairly upbeat and the cake has 1 candle. The last time we see the cake he is in prison and the cake has 6 candles. Each time it has more candles, one more year. That is why he is so broken down by the end of it.
