Couple of Quick Questions…

Hi all
Love the podcast. I feel like you lot enhance the Westworld show experience, so thank you for effort you all put in for us.

I have a couple of questions which really dont have any consequence to the show:

1. How are the hosts powered? Im not entirely sure if the show has addressed this. For the early hosts it could be batteries or something similar, however with the synthetic hosts its hard to believe this to be the case.

2. A couple of weeks ago, you guys debated the “if you transferred the persons consciousness/brain into a new body, is it still them?” issue. Initially I agreed with you all that as long as the brain remains the same so does their consciousness, and thus they are the same person. After a discussion with a doctor who believes the body itself holds a consciousness/memory of sorts i’m a little more torn. The idea is the new ‘person’ will not be the same but someone different. Would love to hear your ideas on this
