Dani’s Chat With Sansa

Have a Theory? Share It Now!

Hi Guys,

Firstly I am an avid listener from England and enjoy the movies and T.V side of things.

On Dani and Sansa’s chat, when Dani was trying to convince Sansa that her motives were good she pointed to the fact that she followed Jon on this quest to defend the north and if she was only concerned with the Iron throne she could have laid waste to Kings Landing and took the throne.

This is nonsense though, if she had done that she may well have now been sat on the Iron Throne, but the Night King problem would not have gone away and in this scenario with the North having to fight without her, the Dragon’s and the unsullied it would have been certain that the Night King issue would have faced her next.

Even if the North triumphed without her, they would then be her enemy and she’d have to battle them in due course.

Dani knows that in order for her long goal of ruling the seven kingdoms to have any chance, she has to first fight them in the North and keep everyone on side, she is most definitely not doing this out of blind love for Jon.

Much to the same point, isn’t it strange that Cersei seems so relaxed about the whole Night King situation, surely she knows that Kings Landing is cannon fodder to whoever triumphs in the North but no, she keeps her troops in situ and double crosses the North, interestingly she does not seem to have the concern regarding the Night King and his army, why is this?

Perhaps Qyburn has gone to work and believes he’s cooked up some sort of Kryptonite that will defeat them or could it be something else?

One thing that has been a constant through-out the seasons but is never much talked about is the “sending of Ravens”.

Now there has been much talk that the Night King does not seem to be at Winterfell with his army, is there a chance that he can receive messages from Ravens just like everyone else and could it be possible that Cersei has attempted to contact him in a bid to form some kind of truce and he’s actually gone to Kings Landing for some kind of pow wow, I know this theory is a stretch but there you go.

On the issue of the Ravens though, shouldn’t it have been correct for at least an attempt to be made toward diplomacy before all out war, surely a Raven sending a message to the Night King to see exactly just what he wants would have been at least worth a try?

Cheers Guys
