Dany Not Just A Pyromaniac Mad Queen

Hey Guys,

One thing I think people miss about Daenerys’ executions by dragon fire is that, dragon fire is really just her weapon. Ned, Robb, Jon, The Mountain, etc used a sword to execute, the Bolton’s flayed men. Dany’s method/weapon is dragon fire. I think people miss this in an effort to paint her as cruel.

Also, I see her mentality of complete destruction of her enemies, as not just a Targaryen “mad queen” trait. The people in Essos are very different from those in Westeros. They are more brutal and the rules there are to destroy your enemy completely. That is the Dothraki way of life and Daario also schooled her to completely eliminate her enemies. Not saying it’s right, but, that’s a societal difference that should be taken into account as to what helped shape her way of thinking.
