You’ve discussed many theories about who the Man In Black is. Is it William? Is it Logan? No.
In Episode 3 we saw a flashback to a young Dr. Ford. Rather than cast a younger actor, the show used CGI to make Anthony Hopkins look much younger in that scene.
So if we saw a flashback of the Man In Black, he should look like a CGI de-aged Ed Harris, not some other actor. The only way that William or someone else is the Man In Black is if they downloaded his consciousness into another person or something like that, which seems unlikely. – Ed
